Dr. Anna Galloway Personal Profile
Dr. Anna Galloway graduated with a BVSc(Hons) from the University of Queensland in 1981. After a few years in small animal and mixed practice, she joined the staff of the University of Queensland (UQ) as a small animal clinician. She started working in veterinary imaging in 1986 as a university tutor and gained MACVSc (radiology) in 1988. Anna continued working in imaging at UQ as a radiology registrar until 2011.
She was granted extended study leave in the USA in 1992 to spend time developing ultrasound skills in veterinary schools in North Carolina, Colorado, and California. She was a locum at The Animal Health Trust in Newmarket, UK, in 2005. She has been a membership examiner for the ACVSc on five occasions and was radiology chapter president for 3 years.
Anna established Vethelp Diagnostic Imaging, a mobile diagnostic ultrasound practice servicing Brisbane and surrounding areas in 2011 and continues to enjoy teaching in addition to traveling to practices performing scans.
